Carolyn Bacon
Carolyn Bacon has been a decorative artist since 1969, when she left her job as a school librarian. She took one tole painting class and was hooked. She soon started teaching classes for a school district community education program.
Carolyn joined the Society of Decorative Painters in the early 1970s. She exhibited and taught at many conventions and seminars.
Although Carolyn values the many friendships she has made through decorative painting, her daughter, Allison, remains her best painting friend. Carolyn resides in St. Charles, MO with Jack, her husband of 60 years.
