Art education is important. It is therapy for the mind, body & soul…
I am a mother of 4 grown sons, grandmother of 8 and live in a rural suburb of Buffalo, New York. I am a teacher, designer and always a student.
Decorative Painting has been a major part of my world since 1981. Strokin’ that brush to create my first daisy did it….I was hooked! I had no art background or education, so I can say with all my heart, this is a “learned art form” and I am the example. I was lucky to find my first teacher who was very encouraging. Since then, I have taken many, many classes in any medium or style to learn new techniques, improve my own
skills and to bring a wealth of knowledge to my students while developing my own style.
Although strokework has remained my first love and forte`, I have painted in all the mediums and painting styles. I delight in whatever I am doing at the moment. I like a challenge and strive to achieve!
Teaching and creating is my passion and I enjoy sharing all that I can. I have had my business, The Paint’n Post Studio, since 1984 and teach regularly now from a Home Studio. I have taught at many SDP conventions as well as MAD, HOOT, NET & OKC Palooza, as well as for many Chapters & Guild seminars and Retreats. I have been published in PAINTING WORLD Magazine, and also have many packets available at Bear With Us, Inc. I also enjoy being an active member in three SDP New York State Chapters.
I am so thankful for the blessings of my found and created talent and all the wonderful people I have met along the way. I will be here for you every step of the way and will work with you to help take you to the next steps of your journey in decorative art.
